Making Sense of the News

Hello and welcome back to Night Minded. Today I will be covering some exciting news for the psychological horror (game) fans!  There  is a plethora of new games coming o ut that fit within the genre. Some ind ependent (indie) games, and some made by bigger well-known companies.  With an influx in dinosaur fans because of the recent Jurassic (World? Park?) movies, there are multiple dinosaur related games being released .  Deathground  is a realistic game where you are living  in a present-day world  of dinosaurs, and you are forced to kill them before they can hunt you down. Thankfully, there is  an option  to build a team to fight  against them – but either way  it is   a challenging task  especially with the unpredictable AI controlling the creatures.   Ill  is another upcoming game in which you play as an investigator who is trying to control the disease (?) of sorts that is spreading and turning innocent civi...

Profile Feature

  For this blog’s profile feature I chose a recent horror icon who – because of her amazing acting skills – has gained the respect of many horror enthusiasts. Mia Gypsy Mello da Silva Goth, better known as Mia Goth has recently been in two big movies within the psychological horror genre. Pearl and X being two of the more well-known titles that she has starred in as of late. Born on October 25th, 1993, a young Mia Goth knew already that her passion was being on the screen. Goth starred in multiple school plays before her attendance at the 2007 “Underage Festival” that changed her life forever, she was signed to model and was featured in magazines for big name brands such as Miu Miu and Vogue. At only age 16 she was already in her first film “Nymphomaniac” directed by Lars Von Trier. It was at this point in her life she began developing her own sense of style and preferences for the films she played in; focusing on films within the realm of horror.
